Born in Ireland in 1842. Arrived in New Mexico in 1878 via Iowa and Colorado. A surveyor ever since. Located at “Deadwood” and “Red Cloud” mines in Gallinas Mts. – later subject of much litigation. A bachelor survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Died at the age of 51 yrs. of pneumonia. He lived at Pinos Wells
