I found the photo below on ancestry.com and it shows a great winter scene perfect postcard material. We analyzed the photo for quite some time because we couldn’t agree with the order listed.
The arrangement they listed would look like this below
Below is a confirmed picture of Sager’s Home. Notice the square roof widow walk? Now look above above and see they have listed it as Stewarts house and that’s incorrect. The next house over is Parkers that’s correct, and the next one Hoyle’s is also correct but the last one is not Sager’s but Stewarts
You can see Stewarts home has two chimneys.. and Lincoln Ave runs in front of all homes, but Stewarts was on the corner of Washington and Lincoln Ave. and that would work out just fine Lets confirm that below. One is clearly on the left and other hard pressed to see but most homes had 2 chimneys one on each side of home.
Now for the fun part.. Lets go ahead and find the location where the photograph was taken. : )
