DIES OF TYPHOID
Isabel, the 22 year old daughter of Edward Lee of White Oaks, died Tuesday morning at 8:15 a.m. from a prolonged attack of malignant typhoid fever. Miss Lee had been ill for over four weeks at the time of her death, and while during that time her life was several times despaired of, she showed wonderful power of recovery from the attacks of the disease and it was the hope of all that she might recover.
The funeral was held Wednesday morning at ten o,clock, being conducted by the Rev. J. W. Hendrix of the Carrizozo M.E. Church, assisted by the choir of his church.
The body was laid to rest in the White Oaks cemetery, being accompanied to its last resting place by a large number of the friends of the family, many of whom paid their last tribute of esteem by beautiful floral offerings.
