  • After his grandfather w w tucker came to white oaks after his daughter and her husband both died 
    Leaving an infant son whom they named John b burch and brought him home 571 miles from white oaks to Harper city Kansas 
     
    By 1900 w w had passed and john was 11 living in harper 11 years old with grandmother Annie 56 and her sons Oliver 25, daughters Nona 22 and Minnie 16 
     
    1910 has john still with the family in harper city 20 years old single. Laborer
