BORN: Feb 24, 1887
DEATH: April 27, 1930
Morgan was a graduate of the New Mexico Military Institute at Roswell N.M., with exceptional honors. On March 10, 1923, he was married to Miss Elsie Armstrong. At the time of his death, he was treasurer of Lincoln County, to which office he was re-elected and as evidence of his popularity t one time there was a strong indication that he would be endorsed by the party of an opposite political faith. Brent was everybody’s friend. His word was as good as his bond and in his official duties it was a pleasure to be served by him. He leaves a wife and his father, Dr. M. G. Paden, to whom the combined sympathy of this community is extended.
