The grand ball given Thanksgiving night at Athletic hall was without doubt the most brilliant social affair of the season. There were fully two of our best people in attendance, while not less than forty couples enjoyed the delightful entrancing pleasures of the dance, tripping the light fantastic until the “wee ama” hours. It was the most enjoyable occasion and the memory of Thanksgiving night, 91, will ever be recalled with pleasure by all the participants.
